Legal Services

The Resurrection Project (TRP) provides a variety of immigration legal services for youth under 18 and their sponsors. They offer help with deportation defense to protect against removal, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) for minors who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned, U Visas for victims of serious crimes, and VAWA petitions for those abused by a family member with lawful immigration status. TRP also assists with asylum applications for those fleeing persecution, adjustment of status to become a permanent resident, DACA applications for youth who came to the U.S. as children, and naturalization assistance for eligible sponsors. They provide legal screenings and consultations to determine the best path for immigration relief and offer community education through Know Your Rights trainings and leadership programs. TRP also runs workshops to help with work authorization and Temporary Protected Status applications, and they support families in navigating the U.S. immigration system.
