The Legal Aid Society of New York City provides free legal assistance to low-income immigrants and detained individuals across all five boroughs.
Through its Immigration Law Unit and the New York Immigrant Family Unity Project (NYIFUP), it offers legal representation in asylum, deportation defense, family reunification, DACA, TPS, T and U visas, VAWA petitions, and citizenship applications.
The organization also helps immigrants facing partner violence, detention, or family separation.
All services are free for eligible clients.
