Hiscock Legal Aid Society provides free civil legal services to low-income residents in Onondaga County and the surrounding region.
Their Immigration Program serves three regions of New York State (Central New York, the Mohawk Valley, and the North Country) covering 18 counties.
Immigration services include naturalization, adjustment of status, family reunification, asylum, employment authorization, travel documents, TPS, and deportation and removal defense.
HLA also offers community legal clinics, information sessions, and Know Your Rights presentations.
