Cabrini Immigrant Services of NYC, Inc. (CIS-NYC) is a multi-service, community- and faith-based organization dedicated to supporting immigrants, refugees, asylees, and their families through culturally and linguistically responsive programs.

CIS-NYC offers a range of legal services, including

• immigration application preparation,
• translation,
• civic and government instruction,
• naturalization,
• Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA),
• adjustment of status and consular processing, and
• replacement of important documents such as resident cards and naturalization certificates.

The team also conducts screenings for vulnerable populations to explore alternative forms of relief, such as U visas, Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) status, VAWA, and asylum, and provides referrals to trusted community partners.

All clients are first screened by a social worker before being scheduled for an appointment with an attorney. Services are available in English and Spanish.

Note that CIS-NYC currently has a waitlist.
